Transport

Arriving from Paris airport

There are trains going directly from Paris CDG to Rennes, be sure to find those options first.

There are also many trains going from station Paris-Montparnasse to Rennes. This station is situated south-west of the city and the fastest way to get there from Paris airports during the rush hour is by taking public transport (bus, metro, tram), otherwise taxi.

SNCF app (French railway company) is handy for getting real-time updates on your travels and to manage tickets.

Arriving from Rennes Airport

Rennes has a small airport which connects to Paris airport CDG. You can take a taxi or a bus C6 (direction Cesson-Sévigné) from there to the city centre.

Rennes city centre to the venue

While the conference venue is not in the centre of Rennes, we recommend that you stay in the downtown area since the Inria Conference Centre is easily reached by public transport from the downtown area (20-30 minutes).

All public transports can be paid by simply using your bank card but you can also purchase tickets at the metro stations. To check real-time updates, visit the Star website.

By bus:
Take a C6 (direction Cesson-Sévigné) or C4 (direction ZA Saint Sulpice) from the city centre (station République).

By metro:
There are two metros, a (red line) and b (green line). The metro b (direction Cesson-Viasilva) goes close to the venue (10 min walk).

By taxi:
You can use the Uber application in Rennes but the prices may be expensive. Check with your hotel for possible cheaper taxi options.
